Donna Karan's Spring 2009 Collection

Here's my pick to Donna Karan's Spring 2009 Collection. The simplicity and elegance of Donna Karan's dresses equates to versatility. I myself think that Donna Karan is headed on to another metallic battle with Donatella Versace.

These three dress are my fave at the Donna Karan's Spring 2009 Collection Fashion Show. The first sleeveless dress is made with fine olive drab liquid satin featuring an elegant side knot to add more sleek to it.

The second one occupies the top of my fave dresses. Plunging V neckline topped with smoked tea embroidered tissue napa bomber vest plus the smoked tea liquid satin reflection sarong skirt.

The third dress is a racerback draped minidress which has the same fabric quality as the other two. Inspired by ever popular liquid satin, its simple and looks comfortable to wear. Visit Donna Karan's Spring 2009 Collection to pick your own piece.

Donatella Versace is obviously on metallic these days. Her new Fall 2009 Ready-to-Wear collection unveiled a new line of metallic and paillette-laden pieces. Among the dresses I faved at the runway are the ones above. Metallic is the language from midnight blue, silver, gunmetal, and various shades of gray.

Trenches and coats were not salvaged from Donatella's paillette addiction. All these daywears are just perfect for this season. These are the best class of clothes there is at the show yet from these, the fifth one (counting from left to right, top to bottom) is my ultimate fave.
